My name is Eric Gage. During the time I spent in the Military, I traveled to many places and met some of the most motivating people. This service to the greater good gave my life purpose. During my transition from the Air Force into higher education at the University of South Dakota, I found my sense of purpose once again through Student Veterans of America. As the USD Veterans Club Chapter President, I was fortunate enough to develop my expertise as a servant leader and organizational manager in my community. I was then fortunate enough to continue to serve as the Director of Programs for Student Veterans of America and oversee the organization's programs team by developing, managing, and executing programs. That role gave me the ability to cultivate my public speaking, organizing, and writing skills. Through programs, I served and empowered student veterans and student veteran-led organizations to advance their objectives. My wife and I decided it was time to return to South Dakota, we wanted our son to grow up as we did here in South Dakota near family. With everything going on in the world and relocation back to SD, I re-evaluate what is truly important to how I wanted to invest my efforts professionally.
Real Estate has always been something I was interested in; the process of “owning” something and controlling our own environment. This past year, we have been forced to spend more time at home and what we need from our space has been put in hyper-focus.
For me, seeking out that perfect place that can become a home is exciting. We all have a desire for a space that fits our needs and we can call our own. I can’t wait to help others realize that for themselves.
